If caring for children touches your heart and your soul, you share our passion.

Children's is searching for an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses to add to our Critical Care Transport Team.

The Critical Care Transport team at Children's Hospital in Omaha is the only team in Nebraska specializing in the stabilization and care of neonatal and pediatric patients.  Transport services are available 24/7, and we have approximately 3000 transports per year.

Children’s Hospital & Medical Center Omaha operates and maintains the fleet of four ground ambulances.  Air Methods Corporation operates and maintains the fleet, which includes 2 - EC130 helicopters and 1 - Pilatus PC 12 fixed wing. Children’s Hospital is the sole users of these aircrafts.

Our transport team consists of highly skilled RNs, Paramedics, and Nurse Practitioners.  The team provides the most advanced, cutting-edge care for both newborn and pediatric patients. Designed to bridge the gap between Children’s Hospital & Medical Center and other medical facilities throughout the region.  The team transports patients to our new state of the art Hubbard Center for Children, which is a level 2 trauma center, consisting of a 20-room emergency department, 32-room cardiac care unit, 32-room pediatric intensive care unit, and 52-room neonatal intensive care unit.

We have received The Gold Standard of Nursing Excellence, Magnet Recognition 4 times, which is an honor achieved by only 2% of hospitals nationwide. Furthermore, the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems is proud to announce that Children’s Hospital Pediatric & Neonatal Transport was awarded accreditation on April 9, 2019.
